So, my wife and I took a momentary break from the debate to watch a little bit of an amateur circus show, which got a similar response out of my wife, then we want back to the debate and my wife seemed very, very concerned with a statement that Sen. Edwards said. He said “if I get elected my first day that I am on the white house I will have no corporate lobbyists around.”

Now, I was concerned for her, I am a political science major at school and I thought, wow, my wife is seriously distraught by this message. When I asked her what was wrong she said “Does that mean he won’t have any secretaries!?” She was not happy with Edwards. She believes Hillary is very emotional. She likes Huckabee because he’s nice, she thought Obama would win because he’s clean cut. I love this memory, our very first presidential race as a family… we laughed. I teach her politics, she teaches me about everything else in life.
